The Story So far

The Red Lion is a beautiful 16th Century Thatched Pub full of charm and a pub that welcomes everyone! We invite you to come and enjoy our small but tasty menu inspired by the idea of simple and honest cooking.

Starting in 2020, Mouse & Corinne took over the reins of The Red Lion and fast forward 8 weeks, the first of our may lockdowns was upon us! The following 2 years were tricky but they weathered the storm, came out the other end and now have a delightful old pub full of charm and wonderful customers.

From classic recipes to pub favourites, each dish reflects our passion for high-quality food presented in a simple yet pleasing manner. We pride ourselves on making everything we serve using fresh and local ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible.
